What is an industrial model or design? An industrial model or design protects the aspect or visible shape incorporated or applied to an industrial product in order to give it a special ornamental appearance.All graphic designs applied to an industrial product can therefore be protected by industrial design rights. The industrial model: the incorporated, three-dimensional form. The industrial design: the two-dimensional, applied aspect. The deposit term is 15 years, with two consecutive 5-year renewal terms. |
